Frequently Asked Questions
Choosing the right space and treatment for yourself can feel important and sometimes vulnerable. Below are answers to some common questions about The Red Tent, the treatments offered, and what to expect when visiting this women-only wellness space in Hamilton Hill, Perth.
If you cannot find your answer here, you are always welcome to get in touch before booking.
1. What kinds of treatments do you offer?
The Red Tent - Sister Care offers holistic women’s wellness treatments including Ayurvedic-inspired rituals, feminine-centred bodywork, relaxation massage, cyclical support, and nurturing sessions designed to support rest, grounding, and reconnection with the body.
2. Is your space women-only?
Yes. The Red Tent - Sister Care is currently a women-only space created to support emotional safety, softness, rest, and feminine-centred care.
3. What should I wear to my appointment?
Comfortable clothing is recommended, ideally something you feel relaxed in and do not mind getting a little oil on. Depending on the treatment, some sessions may involve oils or abdominal work, though professional draping and consent are always prioritised.
4. Can treatments support emotional wellbeing?
Many women seek these treatments during times of stress, transition or emotional exhaustion. Sessions are designed to offer grounding, warmth, deep rest, and nervous system support within a calm and nurturing environment.
5. Do you offer support for stress and nervous system regulation?
Yes. Many women book sessions to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and support their nervous system through grounding touch, rest, warmth, intentional care, and space to deeply rest.
6. Which treatment should I choose?
If you're new to The Red Tent, Warm Oil Full Body or one of my Sound & Stillness offers is a wonderful place to start. It's designed to support deep rest, ease tension and gently reconnect you with your body.
If you're seeking support for your cycle, pelvic wellbeing or hormonal health, Womb Hara Massage offers focused abdominal bodywork and sound healing.
For a longer, more immersive experience, Deep Rest combines full body massage, facial and sound healing, while the Womb Hara Ceremony offers a deeply restorative journey with additional bodywork, Rebozo wrapping and gentle ritual.
If you're still unsure, I'm always happy to help you choose the treatment that's right for you.
7. What if my period starts before my Womb Hara treatment?
Every woman's cycle is different, and sometimes our bodies don't follow the calendar.
If you unexpectedly begin bleeding before your Womb Hara Massage or Womb Hara Ceremony, simply get in touch. If the treatment is no longer appropriate for where you are in your cycle, we'll happily reschedule your appointment for a more suitable time.
The aim is always to work with your body and honour where you are in your cycle, rather than working against it.
